FAQ: What are the hardware requirements?
IN-SPIRE™ was developed to operate on mid level Windows workstations running Windows NT 4 (service pack 6), Windows 2000, or Windows XP. A typical IN-SPIRE computer would include a Pentium III 800 Mhz processor, 256Mb of memory, and 5-20GB of disk space to store the program and associated datasets. IN-SPIRE will operate on much less powerful configurations, but dataset size may be limited. There are no special graphics card requirements as with earlier versions of SPIRE.
